Rather than operating as a pure service provider, the Pembroke philosophy is to develop lasting strategic partnerships, with the initial Lloyd's vehicle being the catalyst for a broader relationship. We specialise in assisting clients with the development of their business plan, structuring exposure swaps with our established Lloyd's portfolios, and guiding the new entrant through the Lloyd's approval process.
Pembroke’s experienced Strategic Partnership team innovatively worked with their clients to collaboratively achieve the following:
- First to successfully develop a Special Purpose Syndicate (SPS) into an independent Syndicate in 2013, when SPS6110 evolved into Syndicate 2014 .
- In 2015, Pembroke worked with Patria Re to develop SPS6125, the first Mexican Reinsurance Company to join the Society of Lloyd's with their own Lloyd's vehicle, commencing underwriting in 2016.
