Mark Wheeler joined Ironshore in 2008 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ironshore International in 2009 and serves in various capacities at subsidiaries of Ironshore. Mr. Wheeler was the founding underwriting director of Pembroke Managing Agency and the first active underwriter of Syndicate 4000, which was established in 2004. Mr. Wheeler worked at SVB Underwriting Limited from 1990 to 2003 where he served on a number of group boards and held several senior management positions including active underwriter of Syndicate 1007. He has worked in the Lloyd’s market since 1987; his first role was at Sturge Marine Syndicate 203. Mr. Wheeler became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance in 1991.

Timothy Seymour qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1977 and then embarked on a career in Merchant Banking, first with S.G. Warburg and then with County Bank where, as a Director, he was responsible for a wide range of clients. In 1986 Tim and a colleague, founded a corporate advisory firm Gilbert Elliot Corporate Finance which later became part of the private banking group, Rea Brothers, where Tim was Head of Corporate until its acquisition by Close Brothers in 2000. In 2001, Tim founded Stafford Corporate Consulting, an FSA authorised and regulated advisory firm. Tim has held both executive and non-executive Directorships in a number of public, quoted and private companies. In addition, at various times in his career, Tim has both advised, and held Directorships in, companies in the insurance sector operating in and around Lloyds.

From 2003 – 2014, he worked with a number of Managing Agencies as independent risk, reinsurance and management reviewer and, in some cases, advisor. He was Active Underwriter and Director at Hiscox Syndicate 624 until 1995 and since then, has provided underwriting consultancy services to the market. Through his appointment, Malcolm will reinforce Pembroke’s strategic development of its underwriting business and third party offerings. He also currently works as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Bell and Clements Ltd.

Krishnan Ethirajan is Chief Operations Officer of IronServe and Ironshore International. IronServe is a global operating unit that delivers Underwriting, Claims and Finance Operations, Analytics, Reporting, Information Technology and Outsourced services to all of Ironshore’s global platforms. Prior to Ironshore, Mr. Ethirajan was at PricewaterhouseCoopers, as the Insurance sector leader for their shared services and operations practice. Ethirajan also had previous management roles at Allstate Insurance where he established the Global Sourcing Office and was responsible for executing their operational transformation program. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ethirajan worked at Gartner, and managed their Asia and Central US consulting group. He has a B.S in Electrical Engineering from University of Madras and M.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.

Iain has worked in the International Insurance and Reinsurance industry since 2000 and has held CFO positions in the industry since 2007. He spent 7 years working with Aon Insurance Managers in both Bermuda and in Ireland before joining a startup operation in Dublin in 2007 where he worked with an executive team to build an entire insurance company infrastructure from the ground up including designing, testing and implementing bespoke systems. Prior to joining Ironshore Iain worked with Travelers as CFO for the Irish operations then joined Ironshore as CFO for its European Company operation (Ironshore Europe DAC) in 2012. In 2014 he was appointed as CFO for Ironshore’s International Division. Iain is a Chartered Accountant and trained with Deloitte, qualifying in 1997.
