Teddy Wong joined Ironshore’s Agriculture Division as an Assistant Vice President, bringing with him invaluable experience in global agricultural risks for crop and livestock, commodity markets, and index-based products. His professional knowledge of agriculture reinsurance spans more than five years and he is known globally for his contributions to the industry. He joined Ironshore from XL Catlin, where he was an Underwriter for global agricultural risks. Prior to XL Catlin, Teddy worked together at Endurance Re where he was an agriculture analyst. He also spent a summer at the Economic Research Service of the USDA, in the Markets and Trades division. Teddy has an MA in Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics from University of California, Davis and a BA in Economics and Political Economy of Industrialized Societies from University of California, Berkeley, bringing with him the intelligence he acquired through his work history and studies.
